"In search of the expression of our terroirs , our wines are produced with pure respect for the environment. Also, we have chosen the methods of organic and biodynamic agriculture . Working with respect for the environment: respecting the vines, soils and subsoils, studying climatology and keeping people at the center of this balance are really essential in the development of an AOC (designation of origin controlled)."

"Wine is vinified in the vineyard and not in the cellar"

The Domaine Jean-Hugues and Guilhem GOISOT
Our family estate, for which we find the first traces in the 14th century, is located in the wine-growing village of Saint-Bris le Vineux dating from the Middle Ages, it is surrounded by Irancy, Chablis and Auxerre.

In the heart of the northern Burgundy vineyards in the Yonne department (less than two hours from Paris), the 30-hectare farm extends over the municipalities of Saint-Bris, Irancy and Chablis.

It was in 1979 that we took over (Ghislaine and Jean-Hugues) the family business, we have always been keen to pay attention to the land, it is from this respect for the land that the logic of cultivating differently appeared. as a matter of course. After adopting the organic farming method for many years, a certification request is filed with ECOCERT, the estate has been certified since 2001.

In 2005, our son Guilhem and his wife Marie, who have the same respect for the land, joined the estate which this same year obtained Biodynamic certification by the DEMETER organization.

For many years, we have been working the vines with respect for the appellations, the consumers, the people who work for the estate and of course the environment, with a know-how that combines tradition and modernism.

The different wines of our production come from several appellations and grape varieties, they are available in white or red, identified appellations, villages, vintages and crus more commonly called in Burgundy: "Climats". Our production comes mainly from old vines (over 90 years old for some). Our Domaine is referenced for the purity that we find in all our wines, the minerality gives an aromatic complexity and makes them wines with a very high aging capacity. All of our white wines can also be enjoyed as an aperitif where they will whet your appetite and awaken your taste buds; and as an accompaniment to a dish, they will reveal both the elegance and finesse of the dish.

Our red wines will express the elegance and finesse of Pinot Noir on aromatic notes ranging from slightly spicy red fruits to stewed black berries.
